Orgasm: Every Day, Every Way, Every Time - Book Review
63
I'm not embarrassed to admit I was intrigued and interested when I first noticed the title of this book. What woman really doesn't want to learn more about orgasms?
This book is a prime example of the old saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover," because honestly the cover is lacking a lot of creativity. It's not very colorful, it uses plain fonts and it alone does not grab my attention; However, I get pass this and I stop my immature inner child from laughing at the authors last name and move on to giving the book a good flipping through.
My first reaction is still bad. It appears to be a giant article out of Cosmo, equipped with quizzes and all. I put the book down and ignore it for a few days, a little disappointed in my book selection.
A few days pass and I tell myself I need to read it and give it a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very well written book. It flows easily and is actually fun to read. I was shocked by all the information I learned about my body and how things work that I was originally not aware of, or noticed.
One example is in the chapter titled, "Your Orgasmic Month," the book talks about different times in which a woman's body might be more inviting to having an orgasm according to her cycle. I found it just fascinating and thought about my own experiences according to what the book noted and found it mostly to be true.
Another feature in the book I liked were the experiences from real women. It was nice seeing that other women go through the same thing I go through or share the same abilities as I do. Although, I was a little disappointed that most readers where in their twenties, with a few being in their early thirties. You do not really see a lot of personal experiences from women over thirty, which might be a little discouraging to readers who are older.
This book really does seem to cover everything from sexual positions, sex toys, exercises, to birth control, to medical conditions - heck even to the differences between a male and female orgasm. It was a really fun and educating book. I feel as though I walked away from the book filled with a lot of new knowledge about myself and I really do recommend the book to all women out there, even if you are like me and really do not have a hard time reaching orgasm. I garantee you'll learn something new.

Awesome.
Hehe... I want to read this. I'm not ashamed. I would have an entire book case dedicated to books like this. The more knowledge, the better.

Does the book discus why this society is so hypocritical or in the closet when it comes to openly admitting our sexual desires?
